Semi-Automatic Handgun Cleaning & Maintenance
In this class, you will be able to follow along and learn about the process for basic cleaning and maintenance of your semi-automatic, polymer frame striker-fired handgun. Some examples of striker-fired handguns are: - Smith&Wesson M&P - Glock-17, Glock-19 - CZP10C - Sig Sauer P320 - Walther P99 It's highly suggested that you have your own handgun with you during the class so can follow along and be able to ask me any questions that may come up as well. Personally, I will be using a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm handgun during the class. Topics covered: - Basic firearm handling - Firearm parts (disassembly) - Safety inspection - Cleaning & maintenance procedure - Reassembly There will be plenty of time to ask any questions you may have either during or after the class. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable disassembling and reassembling your gun, and that you know all the parts to it so you can safely use and handle it.

If you wish to follow along with your own 9mm handgun during the class, I would recommend you obtain the following: - A 9mm handgun cleaning kit - Cleaning mat - Cotton swabs (Q-Tips) - Disposable gloves - Microfiber Cloth - Cleaning patches for your caliber rifle - Solvent/metal preserve cleaning oil (CLP oil).
